Order of Law

There are three orders to The Law.

  • First-order law is The Law as it applies in its domain.
  • Second-order law is The Law as it applies to other domains.
  • Third-order law is The Law applied on other, more accessible domains.

Second-order law is denoted by the prefix “meta-“. It applies to other domains that are less accessible than it. Metaphysics applies to Natural and Social Law.

Third-order law, denoted by the prefix “pro-“, is The Law being applied on more accessible domains. Social Law can be applied on nature and physics. Prosocial Law would be when a person cites assault to intercede in a wild hunt, de-vines trees, or ties-up plants. Accessing substantial order, whether rocks, dolls, or metals, defining inanimate objects that are bonded as married is also Prosocial Law.

Meta- applies to less accessible and pro- applies to more accessible domains of The Law. The Law is demarcated from the order being accessed by prepositions on or to; the law to some domain indicates less accessibility and the law on some domain indicates greater accessibility. It is Pronatural Law in cases Natural Law is applied on substances and Metanatural Law when Natural Law applies to society. An example of Metanatural Law is Social Darwinism.

The quality of accessible is determined by what is being ordered. Life is ordered by Natural Law. Biological entities are alive and substantial so they can access Physical Law but aren’t necessarily human and aren’t qualified to practice Social Law. When gulls drop shellfish they’re using Physical Law to possess brute force superiority in their self-interest to eat. Note that “social entities” are alive and they are substantial. Finally, meta-law is arbitrary because the order lacks effect and pro-law is oppressive since the order lacks affect; humans are often frustrated with animal regulation.

As domains of The Law are more or less accessible, The Order of Law impresses God is, in addition to being divine, at least social, living, and real!
